We are not planning any litters in 2021.

We only breed when we want a pup or two for ourselves. Parents are fully health tested and pups will be hereditary clear of PRA, EIC, CNM, SD2. Parents are Novice FTW and Open FTAW Nullsecundus River Druie (Bearnard Bowdyn X Nullsecundus Purple Toad) and Novice FTAW Corrib Harriet (FTCH Drumgoose Warlord X IRL FTCH Lurriga Cedar of Corrib). A waiting list is available, contact us and register your interest. Read more below for quality standard details, frequently asked questions and useful links.

QUALITY STANDARDS
  • We will follow the DBRG standard for dog breeding which includes the provision of a puppy contract  (read more).
  • The litter will be registered with the Kennel Club.
  • Fife Council have confirmed that a breeder licence is not required for our situation.
  • Pups will be socialised using the puppy socialisation plan to help them get the best start in life.
  • Fia is normally wormed monthly on Nexguard but during pregnancy she is wormed with Drontal, and pups will be wormed twice with Drontal before leaving.
  • Our Sire and Dam are fully health tested and vaccinated, you will have the opportunity to browse through all the paperwork when you visit.
  • Carol has successfully completed CANINE FIRST AID Level 2 (VTQ) valid until January 2023.
  • An endorsement will be put on all registered pups that they cannot be used for breeding unless they have been fully health tested. Read more

PUPPY FOOD
Once weaned our 2020 litter were fed on CSJ CP27, this is wheat free with added herbs to aid digestion as well as chondroitin, glucosamine and MSM for joints.  Pups went home with some to keep them going for a few days. If you intend to change from the puppy food your breeder provides, here are some tips, as a sudden change can upset your puppy's stomach.

VACCINATIONS
Our Dam is fully vaccinated, and the pups will get initial protection through the mothers milk.  We will discuss with you individually about vaccination of your pup, because sometimes vets differ in what vaccination product they use and this may not be compatible with what we can provide at our vet, this means that you will probably have to start again with your vaccinations. Delaying the time you can safely mix your pup with other dogs.

INSURANCE
You will be provided with 4 weeks free insurance.

PEDIGREE

You will be provided with a copy of the pups lineage see bottom of page for a picture of the 2020 litter pedigree. Future litters may not be from the same sire and dam.
