Hi I'm Carol Johnson the kennel owner and chauffeur. I work my dogs as well as compete in working tests and field trials, mostly in Scotland. My dogs thrive on having a job to do, and I have a very strong bond with them because of the time we spend training/working/competing together. But when we are done having fun outside, the inside fun begins. Our first Accio litter was born early April 2020, and we kept two pups Rory and Rhona. They have been competing in working tests and Rory won his first Novice test in May 2022, and was invited to compete at Scone Game Fair 2022. The pups have both had a season working and will do so again in 2022 before starting to trial 2023. Rory has caught many a judge's eye with his fast pace and natural abilities.

Below is some details about my founding dogs Druid and Fia, and their pups. Both founding dogs have qualities I would want to see in a gundog and were chosen by me to start the Accio kennel. Follow us on our journey as I breed, train, and work the next generation. My dogs are health tested and are clear of PRA, EIC, SD2, and CNM. All dogs also have good hip and elbow scores. Their eyes are tested annually under the BVA/KC eye scheme before breeding.

Druid was chosen because I knew his Dad, who has competed for Scotland in Working Tests.  Druid has received several awards himself in working tests at all levels; puppy, novice, and open standard.  But he also does just as well on game as he does on dummies, and gives 100% to both throughout each season. He is a Novice Field Trial Winner, and an Open Field Trial Award Winner. He has a stud book number, is fully health tested and all his details and pedigree can be found here.​ Druid is an honest dog who wants to please, with a lot of experience on both game and dummies. He is an intelligent dog, with a great memory and is very calm around the house, but he switches on when competing and is fast with drive and style. He has a great nose, and works the wind naturally, and will even point or indicate to me that there is game. He is a good marker, and natural heeler, wants to be by your side, and has a focus only for me. He is not phased by crowds and has competed at the Scottish Game fair several times. I am currently training 2 of his progeny which are both dogs with drive and intelligence.  Druid's carries yellow (EeBB) and is a proven sire. Frozen semen available. Hips 2/2, elbows 0, eye certificate valid till July 2022, vaccination Vanguard 7 & kennel cough.

Fia was chosen because I wanted a bitch from a FTCH bitch. I did this because I think what the Dam gives is just as important as the Sire with regard to genetics, intelligence, and natural ability. She is very intelligent, loving and a quick learner. She is a natural marker with a strong nose. She competes at Open Working Test standard and has competed at Scone twice. But she also is good on game as well as dummies, and was awarded a COM in a novice field trial. She has a stud book number.  All pups will get half their genes from the mother and I feel that Fia will provide good natural ability and intelligence into that mix. She is quick and keen to retrieve, always bringing something to me in the house. She is a very loving and friendly dog and I might use her as a therapy dog in the future. Accio Blade Runner

Rory is the son of Druid and Fia. He is smart, a natural marker with lots of drive and style.  He has grown in confidence doing Puppy tests, and won his first Novice test in 2022. Although a young dog with a lot still to learn, his power drives him through any obstacle, he wants to please, and I am enjoying watching him grow and learn. Hereditary clear of common genetic diseases, hips 5 and 7, elbows 0.
